Utila, a crypto infrastructure provider specializing in enterprise stablecoin operations, secured $22 million in fresh funding, nearly tripling its valuation within six months. The Series A extension round, led by Red DOT Capital Partners with participation from Nyca, Wing VC, DCG, and Cerca Partners, brings total funding to $40 million.

The New York and Tel Aviv-based firm caters to payment providers, neobanks, and asset managers with compliance-focused digital asset tools. Stablecoins, now a $270 billion market, are increasingly viewed as blockchain's killer app for cross-border payments. Walmart and Amazon are reportedly exploring implementations, while Stripe's acquisition of Bridge and Circle's IPO mark watershed moments for institutional adoption.
